Pondoro is a proud partner of the Black Mamba all woman anti-poaching unit and the Bush Baby Environmental Education Program for underprivileged children. A percentage of the booking funds are donated to these organisations.
Balule Conservation/Road Levy (for guests self driving) – ZAR115,00 per vehicle plus an additional ZAR280,00 per person in the vehicle.* Subject to change without prior notice.
Guests wishing to book a private vehicle will be required to pay R15 000.00 per day (Subject to availability).
Pondoro Cancellation policy:
Pondoro reserves the right to charge the following cancellation fees should a confirmed reservation be cancelled within the following periods:
If cancellation of any booking or any part thereof is received 31 days prior to arrival, 50% of booking amount will be forfeited.
If a cancellation of any booking or any part thereof is received between 30 – 08 days prior to arrival, 75% of the total balance (accommodation and transfer fees) will be forfeited.
If a cancellation of any booking or any part thereof is received within 07 – 00 days prior to arrival, 100% of the total balance (accommodation and transfer fees) will be forfeited.

Black Mamba Anti-Poaching Tours
Pondoro is very excited to announce a Black Mamba Anti-Poaching tour done every Wednesday and Saturday. All funds will go directly to the Black Mamba Anti-poaching unit. Click on the Black Mamba Tour for more information.
- You will leave the lodge at 12h00 and return in time for lunch at approximately 15h00.
- The Nonwane Research facility is inside the Nature Reserve and you will travel by open game viewer
Tour includes:
- Meeting some of the Black Mambas
- A presentation by the Black Mambas during which a display of poaching artefacts will be shown
- A question and answer section
