The past week’s gameviewing have been good with elephants being the main attraction. They are in abundance at the moment and several breeding herds are usually found during game drives. They are one of my favourate animals and every moment spent with them are usually a treat. I spend a few frustrating days trying to find lions for a really nice group of guests, but Lady Luck avoided us this time. We found fresh tracks several times, but we seemed to be 2 steps behind them all the time and they always crossed our boundaries before we could get to them. Shaun had an excellant game drive this morning founding several elephants , rhino and lions feeding on a warthog. He found the 2 big males, Big Boy and Mazinyo, and the 3 young 2 year old males just after they had caught it and camera flashes soon indicated everyone’s approval of a great sighting.
