We actually saw this female chasing and catching this wildebeest calf. The 1st image was taken when she carried the calf back to her waiting cubs. She gave it to them and they proceeded to chase and play with it until mercifully they managed to kill it after about 20 minutes. This is the lioness that we call the mother lion and the 3 cubs are now healthy 2 year old males. Shaun saw them and their older brothers killing a buffalo calf in December.
