A video of Ranger Sam, tracker Remson and their guests enjoying a fabulous lion sighting at Xigamba dam inside the Pondoro concession area on the 20th of December 2015. Lions often go for a drink in the late afternoon just before sunset. Their prey know this and they can be found visiting waterholes later in the morning and midday when they know that most predators would be resting. Lions also often go for a drink just after finishing a good meal and following them when they leave the remains of a kill will often be rewarded by getting some much sought after photographs of lions drinking.
