A video taken by tracker Eric on the 9th of February 2016 of the huge male leopard we call Watsakile patrolling his territory. He is the biggest leopard in our traversing area and must weigh about 90kg. He is under pressure from his son (Chavaluthu) who is slowly but surely expanding his own territory by pushing into that of his father. I have seen them fight a few years ago when Chavaluthu was still a cocky teenager and watched in amazement as Watsakile taught him a lesson. Time waits for no one and I believe that there will be a new winner this time round as Watsakile, although huge, is probably a bit past his prime as can be seen from his shrinking territory.
