I arrived at Pondoro much unsettled. My SA travel agency had folded and failed to pay for my transfers to and from airports…requiring me to pay again for them. I’d lost my spouse of 46 years as well as both my beloved Irish Wolfhounds within 6 months earlier in the year.
The setting and staff at Pondoro provided the sanctuary, love and kindness to settle me down and I loved it and regained my equilibrium while with them. Lize is fabulous and I love her! Candi is great too. Ranger Nick (great legs!) and tracker Eric are a superb team. Patricia, Bongile and especially Martha and Senty as well as those whose names I’ve forgotten make Pondoro stand above all other game lodges. I’ll never forget your many kindnesses, incredible game viewing, delicious meals, and spending Christmas Eve and Day with this incredible group of talented people. Robbie sets the tone and Lize and all the rest make it real. God Bless all of you!!
