The bush is full of cliches and one of the most overused is that of only the strongest will survive. I had my 1st glimpse of Sticknawo about a year ago when he was running and playing around the hyena den completely oblivious to the fact that he actually had one leg missing. I gave his chances of survival at zero percent. How wrong was I! Sticknyawo is a bit clumsy when walking, but really gets into his stride when running. I believe intelligence, cunning and above all an immense will to live brought this amazing animal this far. His chance to reach adulthood? Well, lets just say my money is now on him.
