A video taken by Ranger Rul during an evening safari on the 20th of November 2015. One of the advantages of going to a private game reserve next to the Kruger National Park is being able to go on a safari drive after dark. This provide excellent opportunities to try and see some of the nocturnal creatures that would otherwise never be seen. A lot of the cats, including lions and leopards, rest during the day and it is only after the sun has gone into its nightly slumber that they would wake up and become the ferocious predators that we know they are. Few things beat following a pride of hungry lions during the night and lucky are those who had their adrenalin levels spiked by a lion on the hunt.
