The lion pride where Kudyela, the big male, spend most of his time seem to be enjoying a very successful hunting period lately. The guides found them feeding on a kudu bull on the 24th of August 2015 only a day after finishing the giraffe carcass that they killed a few days ago. The 3 adult lioness of the pride have now all matured into very good and capable hunters. The oldest lioness of the group has the most experience, but is also the worst lion mother that I have come across, abandoning all her litters so far, leaving them in the care of other lionesses while the cubs were still very young. The two youngest sisters have matured into two beautiful lionesses and seem to be relishing in the task of raising their first litter of cubs.
